| Pack 21 Bowling Event
Our last summertime, Pack bowling has been finalized! This activity will count towards the three required summertime activities in order to get the summertime activity award. Where: Florida Lanes (Florida Avenue just north of Linebaugh) When: Tuesday, August 12 at 6:30 PM Cost: $1.00 per game, per child or adult (adults can bowl also, if they want to) Please let me know if you plan to go, and how many people in your party. Scout sailing...It is considered one(1) summertime activity toward the summertime activity pin (3) needed
Hi Scouts and Parents,
My son Griffin and I would like to invite you and your scout to consider a course in sailing as a fun and unique summertime activity. The Davis Island Youth Sailing Foundation offers their Summer Learn-to-Sail Program to all kids in the community "to promote the sport of sailing, encourage independence, self-reliance, and good character." Griffin participated in the program and really had a lot of fun while learning the basics of sailing and boating safety. The program is designed for sailors between the ages of 8 through 17. Committee chairperson, awards chairperson, one event summertime activity coordinator, Advancement chairperson (head counts and rank recording and progress towards rank) Assistant committee chairperson, and misc "many hands make for light work help" volunteers are still needed. These are the Cub Scouts from Pack 21 who completed the requirements for the archery and bb-gun shooting at Mom & Me. If there were any more boys from your pack who attended on Saturday that I may have missed, please ask the boy’s mom if they came to North America (to the range). Every boy who came to the shooting range during the day Saturday earned both belt loops.
